Scout's Quest to Benefit Alzheimer's
(Source: Grand Rapids Press) - Eagle Scout Mark Zimmer is going for more than a merit badge. He is offering to climb the highest peaks in each of 50 states, place a flag atop featuring the logo of your company and provide a photograph memorializing the event. The bulk of the proceeds will be donated to Alzheimer's research.

Zimmer, whose grandmother died from Alzheimer's and whose grandfather is now afflicted by the disease, hopes to raise $1,000 for 40 of his 50 auctions, with the remaining 10 for sale on a "Buy It Now" basis at $2,500 apiece. That would gross $65,000.

For more information or to place a bid for one of the states, go to www.summitupusa.com.
